At VBH, we deliver innovative AV/IT solutions for the most prestigious yachts worldwide. As a Programming Specialist, you play a key role in developing, programming, and optimizing control systems, user interfaces, and AV/IT integrations.

What you’ll do

As a Programming Specialist, you are responsible for developing, configuring, and implementing advanced control and automation systems. You translate technical designs into smart, stable, and user-friendly solutions, ensuring seamless system integration.

Your responsibilities include:

Programming and configuring Crestron and other control systems
Developing high-end user interfaces (UI/UX)
Integrating AV, IT, lighting, HVAC, and other systems
Testing, commissioning, and optimizing programming (remote and on-site)
Troubleshooting and performance optimization in complex environments
Collaborating with engineers, AV/IT specialists, and project teams
Working on international project locations and shipyards

Where you’ll work

You will be based at our office in Weesp (Greater Amsterdam area), but your projects will take you around the world. You’ll work closely with colleagues, clients, and partners, and regularly visit international shipyards for testing, deployment, and optimization.

What you’ll get

A gross full-time monthly salary between €3,850 and €5,535, depending on your knowledge and experience

Where your strengths lie

You are a technically strong and driven programming specialist with a passion for AV/IT and software. You thrive in a dynamic project environment and take ownership of quality and results.

You bring:

Strong knowledge of Crestron SIMPL / SIMPL+ / SIMPL#
Knowledge of .NET (C#, Visual Studio)
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for high-end UI development

Additionally, you have experience with or knowledge of:

KNX, DALI, Lutron, and HVAC systems
AV systems available in the market and their integration

You also recognize yourself in the following:

You have a strong passion for AV and IT and continuously develop yourself
You are structured, punctual, and detail-oriented
You are stress-resistant and strong in troubleshooting
You have a hands-on mentality and think in solutions
You work well in a team but can also operate independently
You are willing to travel internationally and are flexible in working hours
You hold a valid driver’s license (Category B)
