Our clients expect to stay connected.
You make sure they are.
Behind every reliable onboard system is a well-designed IT infrastructure. From enterprise networks and secure connections to servers and communication systems, every component needs to work together reliably and securely.
As an IT & Network Specialist at VBH, you'll configure, implement and troubleshoot the IT environments behind some of the world's most extraordinary superyachts. You'll work across networking, servers, Microsoft 365, virtualisation and other IT systems, helping ensure everything performs as it should.
Working closely with System Engineers, Project Managers and installation teams, you'll combine technical expertise with a hands-on approach to solving complex problems and delivering reliable solutions.
The reality
Working in the superyacht industry comes with high expectations.
Details matter. Reliability matters. The user experience matters.
One day, you'll be preparing equipment and configuring systems at our office. The next, you might be on board during installation, troubleshooting a connectivity issue or testing systems during commissioning.
Superyachts bring together complex IT, AV, communication and automation technologies. Everything needs to integrate correctly and meet high expectations for performance, security and reliability.
You'll encounter challenges that require technical insight, logical thinking and a practical approach. It's a role for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work together, finding solutions and taking responsibility for getting things right.
Your role
As an IT & Network Specialist, you'll work on IT infrastructure throughout the project, from preparing and configuring equipment at our office to installation, integration, testing and commissioning on board.
Your work will cover networking and connectivity, servers, virtualisation, Microsoft 365, storage, backup and IP telephony. You'll configure systems, resolve technical issues and ensure that different components work together reliably.
Alongside project delivery, you'll help improve our technical standards, documentation and configurations. You'll also share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to making our IT team work more consistently and efficiently.

In return we offer;
We're looking for an experienced IT professional with a solid technical foundation and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure.
You understand how different systems work together, are comfortable configuring and troubleshooting IT environments, and can independently investigate and resolve technical issues. You take ownership of your work and approach challenges in a structured, practical way.
You don't need to be familiar with every technology we use. What matters is that you bring relevant experience, understand the underlying principles and can apply your knowledge to new systems and environments.
You'll probably recognise yourself in the following:
Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Fortinet certifications, are an advantage.
You'll join a team of technical specialists, each bringing their own knowledge and experience. We work closely together, share knowledge and believe it's important that you feel at home in the team from day one.
You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who share their expertise and support your development, while giving you the independence to take ownership of your work and tackle technical challenges.
We also invest in technical training and courses focused on new technologies, helping you expand your expertise and stay up to date with developments relevant to your work.
At VBH, you'll work on something you don't come across every day: high-end AV/IT technology that ultimately becomes part of an exclusive superyacht.
