Internship Software Engineering
VBH has been active in yacht audio systems since its establishment back in 1985. Since then, we’ve been at the forefront of both audiovisual and information technology for luxury yachts, and assessed, recommended and installed some of the finest and most advanced systems in the market.
Today, we are proud to have worked on more yachts than any other company in the industry, with a total of over 300 successfully delivered projects - both refits & new builds.
Would you like to participate in the coolest AV and IT projects on the largest superyachts in the world?
We are VBH, and we have an opening for an internship in our Technology & Innovation (T&I) department. The start date is flexible (we prefer as soon as possible). The internship will be at least 3 months, preferably 6 months. Your workplace will be mainly our office in Amsterdam.
What are we looking for?
You are studying for instance MBO Software Engineering, Application Development, Game Development or similar and you know your way around Swift, Python, HTML, CS, JS and C#.
You are familiar with Scrum and fluent in both Dutch and English.
What are you going to do?
We have designed new functions and a new interface for our AV systems. One of these functions is about extending services to guests on a yacht. We cannot go into detail but it is a function that needs to be built from scratch and touches on almost all fields of expertise (e.g. front- and backend and database). Your assignment will be to build this function and make it part of our new interface.
During your internship you will be part of our T&I team that consists of designers, developers and experts in the fields of IT, AV and Security. At the end of this period we expect you to deliver this function and to demonstrate it to the T&I team and stakeholders.
What do we offer?
We offer you an informal and ambitious working environment for your internship. You will be part of an enthusiastic team, within an innovative and dynamic organization.
Send in your motivation letter and resume to Iris Diepens, HR Business Partner, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
