As an International Field Service Engineer at VBH, you are the person who makes sure our high-end AV/IT systems are not only installed correctly, but also work exactly as they should on board.
You will be travelling regularly. From Dutch shipyards and different locations across Europe to yachts further afield, depending on the project. Travel is not an exception in this role — it is part of the job. You enjoy that variety, like working in different environments and get energy from discovering new places while working on new projects.
You are hands-on, technically strong and enjoy solving problems. When a system does not perform as expected, you want to understand why, find the right solution and make sure the client can move forward with a system that works properly.
At VBH, you are part of a team you can rely on. You work closely with engineers, installers, project managers and colleagues on site. We are an open and approachable organisation where people work closely together and help each other when needed. Even when you are travelling, you know there is a team behind you.
Your home base will be either Weesp, the Netherlands, or Antibes, France. The work itself is the same, but your location and local employment conditions will differ.
From Weesp, you will regularly travel to Dutch shipyards, yachts across Europe and further afield, depending on the project. International travel is an important part of the role.
Being based in the Netherlands also means easy access to Schiphol. With Schiphol Privium as part of the package, international travel is made a little easier when heading to your next project.
From our Antibes office, you will be travelling regularly to shipyards and yachts along the Mediterranean coast. This means spending a lot of time on the road, with projects taking you along the coastline between Barcelona and Genoa.
You enjoy the variety that comes with being on the move, working in different locations and adapting to changing project environments.
As an International Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for the technical execution on site.
You are not only installing systems. You are the person on site who makes sure everything comes together, solves technical challenges when they arise and helps deliver the final result to the quality our clients expect.
We are looking for someone who enjoys technology, likes being on the road and genuinely cares about service.
You’ll join a team of technical specialists, each bringing their own knowledge and experience. We work closely together, help each other and believe it’s important that you feel at home in the team from day one.
You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues who will introduce you to our systems and way of working, while giving you the space to become increasingly independent and continue developing your skills.
We also believe in supporting you in your role as technology continues to evolve. That is why we provide technical training and courses focused on new technologies, so you can continue to develop your technical knowledge and stay up to date with the developments that are relevant to your work.
At VBH, you’ll also work on something you don’t come across every day: high-end AV/IT technology that ultimately becomes part of an exclusive superyacht.
๐ฅ๏ธ Join VBH and turn your technical knowledge into the drawings behind some of the world’s most extraordinary superyachts.

Step in.
Let your senses take over.
A new kind of experience awaits.
