At VBH, we deliver innovative AV/IT solutions for the most prestigious yachts worldwide. As a Project Purchaser, you play a key role in managing the full procurement process and ensuring materials and systems are delivered on time, under optimal conditions, and according to the highest quality standards.

What you’ll do

As a Project Purchaser, you are responsible for the full operational and tactical procurement process within projects.

Your responsibilities include:

Handle supplier quotations, review commercial terms, and place orders
Manage framework agreements and keep track of supplier performance (KPIs)
Oversee the full order-to-delivery process and make sure everything runs smoothly
Handle RMAs (returns, repairs, replacements) and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely resolution
Spot potential supply or delivery issues early and follow up to resolve them
Step in with practical alternatives when things don’t go as planned
Work closely with project teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep things on track
Maintain good day-to-day relationships with suppliers
Keep an eye on market developments that could impact availability or pricing
Look for ways to improve procurement processes and make daily operations more efficient
Identifying risks and taking proactive action

You are part of project teams and report periodically on procurement and delivery status.

Where you’ll work

You will be based in our office in Weesp (Greater Amsterdam area), working closely with international suppliers, partners, and internal teams.

What we offer

A gross full-time monthly salary of €3.850, - up to €5.535, - based on your knowledge and experience
Travel allowance (€0.23/km)

You are an experienced and results-driven purchaser who thrives in complex environments and takes ownership of procurement performance.

You recognize yourself in the following:

Bachelor’s level (HBO) working and thinking level
Proven experience in a similar procurement role
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Analytical mindset and process-oriented thinking
Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
Structured, accurate, and quality-driven
Proactive and solution-oriented
Skilled in building and maintaining relationships
Fluent in English, Dutch is a pre
