VBH (Van Berge Henegouwen) has appointed Jeroen van den Hurk as CEO, effective 1 May 2019. Van den Hurk succeeds Michiel Haverkorn van Rijsewijk and has a broad experience as managing director in the technology and logistics industry, and in guiding companies towards a new future. For the past seven years Van den Hurk has been Managing Director of VDL Industrial Modules, a contract-developer and manufacturer of modules and systems for OEMs.
The Supervisory Board of VBH is confident that the appointment of Jeroen van den Hurk will enable the company to further develop its strengths in the worldwide superyacht industry. “Van den Hurk has a genuine understanding of the needs and aspirations of our company and we are delighted to have him onboard,” comments the board.
