The first mobility experience centre has opened in the Netherlands, offering an interactive journey through the history and future of mobility. Initiator Pon aims to challenge visitors to think about how to deal with mobility in the future as cities become increasingly crowded. VBH – a forerunner in the application of luxury technology – partnered with Pon to create experiences with interactive video walls, an event hall, virtual reality and state-of-the-art meeting rooms.
The Move Mobility Experience is the first and only experience in the Netherlands completely dedicated to the mobility of goods and people, on land, at sea and in the air. Specially developed interactive games take young and old alike on a journey into the past, present and future. Move shows mobility developments in an interactive way and offers a platform to experiment with new forms of mobility in and around the city.
“We are proud to be part of this exciting new experience,” comments Friso van de Nes, Sales Manager at VBH. “After a long and creative journey with Pon, we have realized a brilliant result which is appealing for both the B2B market and end users. The in-depth understanding at VBH of how to apply technology and ability to anticipate continuously evolving customer desires are a key force behind our success. The installations differ a little from what we normally do as VBH on superyachts, but all have the same goal of offering clients the endless possibilities of technology.”
Mobility in one place
Pon is involved in mobility products, services and solutions globally, while also offering hundreds of industry solutions. What started as a small-scale family business in 1895 has evolved into a successful trading firm and well-known automotive retailer, leading in many markets. The Move Mobility Experience is located next to the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, one of the most intensive intersections in the Netherlands in terms of mobility. In addition to insights into the future of mobility and various related services, it also showcases the latest models of bicycles and cars such as Gazelle, Cervélo, Audi, Porsche and Bentley.
The Centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00.
